We are excited and privileged to announce that the “COWBOY UP!” event will be NASKA (North
America Sport Karate Association) endorsed and AAA rated on the National Circuit. ISKA (International Sport
Karate Association) is a Global organization and has been working with Hill Country Karate for almost a
decade, with the hopes of helping to establish and endorse a World Tour event in the South-Central United
States. The ISKA World Championship has been hosted for the past 25 years in Orlando at a Disney resort and is
the only Sport Karate event which has ever been annually televised on ESPN.
The Board of Directors for
ISKA have endorsed this event to be the Official Southwestern USA Qualifier for the US Open. Martial artists
and their families from all over the great State of Texas, the nation and even internationally will be
attending or participating in this event. We are expecting over 3,500 competitors and spectators. To make this
National Championship successful, we are looking for Texas and local area partners as event
sponsors.
